Beautiful Machine Embroidery Applique for MELs Everywhere
{MEL = Machine Embroidery Lover}
Introducing
The Peace Wreath
The Peace Wreath was imagined after one of our Friday zoom calls.
MEL Cindy had shared that she loved making the Posies for MEL coasters - stitching up a total of 36 of them!!!
After sharing, she mentioned, "I'd love to be able to stitch up a dove and a poinsettia for the Holidays!"
Cindy - your wish is my command!
We are delighted to introduce The Peace Wreath, with 5 gorgeous dove designs and 3 variations on a poinsettia flower!
The complete Peace Wreath measures 30.5" x 30.5"
8 doves (5 unique designs) fly around the central holly ring with a 3 dimensional poinsettia in the center. Don't like 3D? Use the flat version of this design!
This makes a unique table topper or a beautiful wall hanging.
The central holly ring measures 16.5" x 16.5".
A circle of holly surrounds the 8" diameter center, which can contain one of the 5 gorgeous dove designs or 2 variations on a poinsettia.
These can be used as placemats or chargers for your festive meals.
The poinsettia can be stitched up as a "regular" applique, or it can be transformed into a vibrant 3 dimensional beauty!
Instructions are included to stitch up The Peace Wreath in the following hoop sizes:
- at least 265mm x 410mm
- at least 180mm x 340mm
- at least 150mm x 290mm
- at least 150mm x 260mm
As well as creating a gorgeous center for the circle of holly, the 5 dove designs and 2 variations on the poinsettia can be stitched up as 8" diameter coasters.
And just in case you're thinking, "Didn't she mention there were 3 variations of the poinsettia flower?"...
As well as the 8" diameter coasters, there's a 6" diameter coaster too!
Here's What's Included...

"Your designs are beautiful!"
Oh, your designs are beautiful!
When I read your instructions, it's just ABC.
This is what you do, and all I need to do is follow it.
~ Shirley S, fellow MEL from CO
"Easy to do!"
Your designs are so wonderful, and they're easy to do if you just follow the instructions.
It's good that you are an engineer, because then you figure out how it goes together so that other people can do it.
And I think that's a talent, a good talent.
~ Mailyn W, fellow MEL from AR
"Fun and amazing!"
I think Sarah's designs are just fun and amazing.
When I get everything stitched out, it's like I'm holding it up and I go, wow, did I really do that?
~ Carol C, fellow MEL from TX

Meet Your Designer
Dr. Sarah Vedeler
Since I was a young girl, I've had a love for sewing.
That love transformed into a hobby, a passion, and then a career.
Nearly 2 decades ago, I started designing my own quilts and offering those designs (as well as classes on how to use them) to quilters all over the world.
I discovered my super-power and purpose:
To ignite the fire of creativity in the hearts and minds of people who are hungry to experience the transformative process of creating something beautiful themselves.
Watching people of all skill-levels and walks of life grow their skillset and their confidence using my designs has been incredible.
In beautiful nerdy fashion, I mash up my PhD in Theoretical Computer Science and career as a Software Engineer with a love of color and design.
The result?
Machine embroidery applique and quilting in the hoop designs which allow YOU to create spectacular quilts and other projects.
Creating magic is just a stitch away.
Make this holiday season one to remember.
