This collection is eggstra special because it’s my first Easter related collection EVER.
I knew I wanted to come up with an Easter collection this year, but when I sat down to think about the designs, I was a bit stumped at first.
The classic Fabergé Egg immediately popped in my head because it was a prized Easter decoration in my home growing up (of course we had the “other guys” brand that was affordable and not a branded piece worth millions). This is a decoration piece that has been used for hundreds of years, but I didn’t want to create just another take on it.
I wanted something different. And when fabric and thread come together in my world, anything is possible!
The end result is beautiful eggs - 6 different designs each in 3 different sizes.
Perfect for open-ended creation and decoration – you can use them on their own as freestanding ornaments, as shelf decoration, in a pennant banner, to make your own Easter basket, a plant decoration, or anything else. The options are endless!
Scatter these eggs around your home or on your projects and remember the fun days of your childhood when you’d look for the eggs your parents scattered to find. Or scatter these collectible eggs for the children in your life to find!
I don’t know about you, but when I’m creating something new in my sewing studio – it’s just as exciting for me as those days I spent running around my yard looking for Easter eggs or the memories made years later hiding eggs for my girls.

Q: I think I want to put these eggs on a quilt. Will they work for that?
A: Absolutely! You could easily use the instructions I provide for the pillow to create a quilt if you aren’t familiar with the process. I kept this project small intentionally, but they would look fabulous on a festive quilt.
Q: I’m not sure about cutting the shapes because I don’t have (or I’m not use to) any fancy cutting equipment. Can I still use these designs?
A: Yes! I provide you with different ways to get your shapes cut out and ready, including a way to do them if you don’t have an electronic cutting tool. If you do have one but have been putting off using it, this is a great project to learn on!
Q: I love the designs, but I’m nervous about the project because I really don’t have a lot of experience. Can I do this?
A: Of course! I leave no detail out of my instructions so anyone can follow them. Additionally, you can purchase the premium upgrade to get access to video instructions as well so you can be sure you won’t have any trouble.
Q: I was thinking about make a table runner, wall hanging, etc. Are these eggs the right size for different projects?
A: Yes, when you purchase this collection, you get designs and instructions for 3 different sizes of eggs in 6 different styles. You can use these eggs for anything – I could even see adorning the hem of a little girl’s dress in the smaller ones. Be creative! I may have a surprise design up my sleeves in the coming days
